Good Riddance!

Some GREAT news yesterday......................the renter pulled out of here with his pick up and a trailer full of their furniture and crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, it appears it really is happening. After almost 3 years they are really leaving. They aren't 100% gone yet, but that was a great sign that they will be gone by the end of the month. One more week!

  1. Is this the drug dealer neighbor? Are their others besides him or once they are fully moved out the drug problem goes away? I can't remember.

    1. Yes, it is one of them. These are the renters that live at the end of our street. The other dealers live behind us. Getting rid of these renters will be a huge, huge part of the problem going away. There is so much traffic on our little private road in front of our house, with all their drug deals. DH literally has 15,000 photos our security camera has snapped in 2 years of someone coming and going to that house - and it doesn't even catch them all.

The other house behind us has been pretty darn quiet the past month or so. One of the 3 brothers has been in jail, which explains a bit of it, I'm sure. They have some traffic going to their house, but it's been cut down quite a bit, for some reason.

The other annoyance is slumlandlord's (on other side of us) son. He is a 40 year old drug addict/dealer, who sometimes lives with his dad. He is currently out on bail, living there now, but supposedly is going to jail for 4-5 years, if he ever stands trial for his drug dealing and possession of a gun the last time he got arrested. If he gets put away, the renters gone and the others behind us stay fairly quiet, it will be a lot better.

    2. here's how our justice system works, apparently. Slumlandord's son was supposed to go to trail at the end of April for his arrest/charges from end of February. About 10 days before his trail daddy bails him out. 5 days before his trial he was supposed to show up for "pre-trial conference". Of course he was FTA, so they issued a bench warrant for his arrest. A week or so later they arrest him (hiding at the renters house),he spends 3 days in jail and then is just let out, no extra bail or anything. His trial has been rescheduled two more times and now it's at the end of June. Like they think he's really going to show up? So for $2,000 bucks (10% of bail) he's out roaming our neighborhood - a felon with a gun. Thanks judge, for letting him out, appreciate it so much.
