Keeping fingers crossed - again!

Ds has another job interview tomorrow. He just got a call and had quite a lengthy phone interview regarding an IT tech position he applied for.  This position would entail 20-30 hours a week, traveling to the company's approximately 20 stores in our area, troubleshooting various IT problems.  $12 an hour to start and reimbursement for mileage and a very flexible schedule.  Sounds perfect for him!  If he got this job we will stop trying to sell my old car, as he would need this vehicle to get around for work, and he could just slowly buy it from us, at a small manageable monthly amount.

So, I will be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for him tomorrow!

  1. good luck for the job!

(that seems like such a low wage, is that the usual amount in the US for an iT job?)

  2. well, it's just a part time, entry level type of job and they did say that was the pay to "start". He would only be working about 20 hours a week. Current Minimum wage $8.67 per hour. I imagine when he gets his degree from completing college he can land a job making at least $50,000 - $60,000 a year to start. Just a couple more years....:-)
