An annoying Sunday

My Sunday morning was filled with just miscellaneous little tasks and chores:

- Refilled both our pill containers for the coming week

- Made some of my "yogurt pudding"

- Cut up a mini sized watermelon into pieces to store in the fridge for some fruit this week

- Watered my 2 live indoor plants

- Ordered dh's office chair. Here's how shabby his current chair is looking :/

 - Recorded my expenses the past few days

Then around 11am dh asks me "do you think you'd want to come help me out in the shop today?" I said no....not really....because I don't want to spend all day out there (knowing he will be out there for like 8 hours, other than to eat lunch and dinner). He said "OH! no no no! I just need your help for like a half hour, maybe an hour!" Oh, ok, sure.............FOUR f-ing hours later he was done needing my help! What a complete waste of my day. I was not very happy, especially as standing on concrete for that long of course almost every part of my body hurt and I'm still aching this morning. At least we were outside  most of the time, so I got some good sunshine vitamin D.

It was 4:15 when he was done needing my help and I said I'm not making dinner tonight - we'll just have sandwiches and watermelon, which he was fine with (knowing he'd better be fine with it LOL).

It's supposed to be cloudy and rainy today, but so far I'm seeing some blue sky mixed in with the white clouds and the sunrise was a pretty pink.

One of the tasks I didn't get to yesterday was to get the flea and tic medication onto Amos, so I will get that done today.

  1. 4 hours, omg! I feel for you. Good luck with the medication application if Amos gets squiggly.

    1. I try to wait until he's tired and resting in my lap, haha. Right now he's got the zoomies, so it's not happening yet ;)

  2. I cannot stand, even walk in house on concrete that is covered with carpet or wood.
