Kohl's score

I was still holding on to my $30 Kohl's cash and not made an online purchase yet.  Mostly because I didn't want to pay $8.95 shipping. LOL.  This morning I decided to bite the bullet and get it used and out of crowding my brain.  I looked up coupon codes because my total came to like $33, so figured I could at least take 15% off the $3 over $30. Kohl's will apply percent off after Kohl's cash. I found a 30% off code, if you use your Kohl's charge card and even better I found a free shipping code if you use your charge card. Score! That's what I needed - free shipping.

Then I noticed a $10 off $50 home purchase. Hmmm....I could get an extra $20 worth of stuff for about the same out of pocket I was going to have to spend when I thought I was paying shipping. (shopping logic LOL)

Originally I was going to get 2 bath towels for $7.99 each and 1 small tabletop Christmas tree decor for $15.99 (reg. $40). With $30 off, then 15% off, my out of pocket, with shipping would have been $10.62.  Instead I got 4 bath towels, 1 washcloth and the tree for $9.73 out of pocket.

    That's fantastic! I love Kohl's but did not love the having the credit card debt. That was one of the cards I called and cancel, because I know how I am!

      yes, it's probably best to not have that card if you can't pay it off! Thankfully, the few times I do use it per year, I can pay it off right away

      I mull it over a lot too, but sometimes I drive myself nuts taking too long to make a decision.

    You did well! I still have my Kohls cc but seldom ever use it. I really only keep it around for the extra discounts and always pay it off right after making a purchase.

      the 4 new towels will be nice to have and be able to relegate a few of the ones getting ratty..one even has holes! to the the shop rag bucket

      especially when you make a purchase in store and the cashier always says "you've saved $xx today". Like I would ever pay full price, LOL
