I just got done watching a few episodes of "Extreme Couponing" for the first time. It didn't come across quite as bad as some reviews I've read on couponing sites. I think it showed that most people were doing it to save money, not to hoard...though seriously, who can use 35 bottles of Maalox? it would expire before you could literally use that much, LOL.
So, ya, I am definitely a "baby" extreme couponer. I hit up 2 Walgreen's today. I kind of messed up and didn't split up one of my purchases like I should have in order to roll the Register Rewards for less out of pocket, but I still got some good deals.
3 Reach Toothbrushes (I was down to 1 in my mini-stockpile)
1 Listerine Pocket pak
3 Trident gum 18pks
2 Revlon nail polishes
2 Dry Erase Markers (6 packs)
1 Bic highlighters (5 pack)
Total out of pocket came to $8.61 (I had a $5 Register Reward from last week to apply) and I got back $12 in Register rewards.
