A busy morning

Dh's new office chair arrived yesterday. He said it's much more comfortable that his old chair, but the back isn't as high, so he can rest his neck/head back....and fall asleep! LOL. But, I see he managed to fall asleep in it after dinner haha. I think he just skooched down a bit and had the chair lean back a bit. It looks really nice in his den and the wood on it matches his desk well.

Then he tried to say he could keep the old chair. I instantly just about blew a gasket and he yells "I'm kidding! I'm kidding! I just wanted to see what you'd say". Jerk. LOL.

I'm working on processing payroll this morning. A few issues with some hourly folks missing some time "punches" (anyone remember the old days when you'd actually punch in at a time clock? LOL). I don't need a whole explanation from them about it - just tell me the time, so I can add it and move on. And then we have this new-ish employee who keeps working a ton of O/T, like even clocking back in in the evenings...really??....they've already been told no O/T, unless it's been pre approved, yet still are doing it. My boss is annoyed.

I just had a quick "pre-appointment phone intake" with the Mayo Clinic for dh's upcoming phone appt next Wed. I always freak out just before these types of call appointments....was I supposed to call them or were they calling me? Especially, when it gets a couple minutes past the time of the appt. But, the guy called at 10:02 ;) What it sounds like is that the phone appt next Wed is with their GI/pancreas nurse team. They take all the info and with in a day, maybe two days, the dr will review it and come up with a plan and if he needs to go there in person, it will get scheduled.

I like getting unexpected money in the mail. It's not much, but a $34 check from our phone company co-op, with their annual member distribution.
