I'm trying to figure out a Target deal that I hope will work out as planned. I just printed an offer from Target's facebook page for $10 off a $50 purchase. I also have a catalina Target coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase of frozen foods and a $5 off Target coupon for 2 bags of Purina cat or dog food. If I can get $25 in frozen food items (great for my new freezer stock up!) and $25 in the pet food (though 2 bags of cat food might be more than $25) here's my plan:
I'm pretty sure if I hand them the $10 off $50 coupon to ring through first it will take off the $10, since I have spent $50. I don't want to hand over the other coupons first, as that will then show my total below $50 and the $10 off coupon might not work. Then I can hand over the 2 $5 off coupons and any other coupons I have for the frozen foods (still looking for coupons). $50, less $10, less $5, less $5 will be $30 and then for using my Target red debit card I will get another $1.50 (5% ) off that. I should be able to get $50 worth of product for $28.50 less any other manufacturer coupons I can come up with to use. A pretty good deal, in my book.
Good deal!
ReplyDeleteFind some ManuQs and/or buy items in frozen/pet food that are on sale as well.
Stretch that deal!!lol
I found some coupons on Stouffer single serve entrees - Target coupons for buy 3 get one free and also mfg $1.50/2 to stack together. Now just hope our store carries them. It isn't a full grocery store Target but they have a pretty big frozen food section.
ReplyDeleteSome stores put coupons in a certain order, regardless of which gets entered first. I'm not familiar with Targets', but that sounds like an awesome deal!
ReplyDeleteI wrote this post wrong - the $10 coupon is a $10 Target gift card with $50 purchase, not $10 off. I'm hoping I can give that to the cashier first and it will all work :)
ReplyDeleteHi there, I've been compiling all the relevant info for this $10/$50 coupon on my blog. One poster on slickdeals commented that Target allowed the $10/$50 with another $/$$ coupon even when the first coupon put the balance below the minimum amount required for the second one. Hopefully that will work in your case as well. Happy couponing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Nick! I'll be checking out your blog. My Target has always been great about coupons, so I guess I'll find out this afternoon if it works or not.
ReplyDeleteWow such a deal. I need to go and get some gift cards and some free money from those. Like buy 50 and get 10. They are all over the place right now. So like at CVS I plan on spending 50, so I am just going to go to the cash reg and get the gift card and my 10.00 bonus then go back and use the gift card for shopping! ;-)
